The North Pacific Research Board seeks an exceptional candidate to join the Anchorage-based staff as a Program Manager and a Communications Outreach Director.
Program Manager
The program manager will be responsible for implementation and management of research programs concerning marine ecosystem dynamics and sustainable use of marine resources in the Gulf of Alaska, Bering Sea/Aleutian Islands, and Chukchi/Beaufort Seas. Under the general direction of the science director, the program manager will collaborate with a variety of scientists at government, private and academic institutions. A successful candidate will have a record of accomplishment with a particular emphasis on planning and oversight of marine research with natural resource management applications.

Communications and Outreach Director
The Communications and Outreach Director is responsible for the design, implementation and management of a comprehensive strategy for disseminating information about NPRB’s activities. The communications and outreach director translates scientific information into user-friendly terms and packages it for maximum accessibility, exposure and impact.
