Council action to minimize chum salmon bycatch in the Bering Sea pollock fishery
The Council received significant feedback and testimony from over 100 people, including Tribal leaders and members, CDQ groups, Alaska communities, and pollock fishery participants that helped inform modifications for the next stage of analysis on a draft Environmental Impact Statement (EIS) focused on bycatch reductions of Western Alaska chum.
